She was married in 1997. married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. An M.A. in Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure film, i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
